One thing I love to share with everyone is FOOD! Do bear in mind that when I review restaurants, I do it completely unbiasedly…. If I write about it, it’s mostly really good that I had to write about it… 🙂

This restaurant I chanced upon through my dad serves Vietnamese cuisine, baguettes in particular.

It’s called Banh Mi, you probably can’t miss the sign if you are looking for it at Damansara Uptown area

A snapshot of their set for you guys to take a look at

Their menu which isn’t extensive but good enough for those who want to take and run..I always believe in focusing on their specialty rather than adding in everything, don’t you?

It looks like a canteen, clean with high stools..definitely not meant for you to stay long

Spring Roll – RM7 , a simple appetizer which tastes good… crunchy and filled with vegetables

Famous Vietnamese Coffee(RM4) – Must TRY! I don’t drink coffee but when I tasted this, I knew it was good..very palatable to the taste buds… Ben, who’s a coffee drinker quickly affirmed my thoughts after taking the first sip

O’Sunny(RM9.20) – I believe this is one of their signature sandwiches. I can understand why because it’s stuffed with loads of different flavours from the pickled vegetables, to the marinated meet, it was a good explosion of taste in your mouth after biting

O BBQ (RM8.20) – Not too bad because it had pickled vegetables with barbequed pork. I couldn’t really taste the pork because the vegetables overpower the taste but it still tastes good

Look at how thick the baguette is!!! Very feeling indeed. One of the key ingredients is the baguette which was very crunchy and the pickled vegetables which gave a lot of flavour to the entire sandwich

So, for those who have yet to try a Vietnamese baguette, I highly recommend Banh Mi which is reasonably priced and actually tastes authentic(from my limited experience of Vietnamese cuisine!). But, I am pretty sure it tastes better than the Vietnamese baguette at my University in hawaii which also sells banh mi
