Why I keep going back to Pangkor Laut Resort

Everyone's always asking me "Why do you always go back to Pangkor Laut resort when you can spend the money elsewhere?!" My answer is the below besides the fact that it's affordable through the Resident package which includes 3 days 2 nights stay plus 2 dinners, 2 lunches, 2 breakfasts and ferry transport for two people! 1. Attentive service and awesome room which is huge From the start when you arrive at the registration at Marina Island, you would be treated very well with drinks and tidbits served while you are waiting The room itself is HUGE and spans all the way to the back with two separate washing area and a huge tub which can fit two people..I love lazing around in the...

Krabi Highlights – Part 2

For this post, I am going to detail more of what you should do during the day! There are usually quite a fair bit of day tours you can choose from BUT I always prefer to go with a trusted cab driver who can complement your traveling style if you are not the type to wake up early for a 8am tour! Upon recommendation from Caroline, the owner of Leelawadee Garden resort, we used Bew to take us to the Tiger Cave Temple which costs only 1200 Baht. If you want to contact him, click on his name and it hyperlinks to his Facebook! After the 20 minute ride there, we arrived at a refurbished temple which seem really blinged out Go crazy...

Sightseeing in Jeju

I know many of you are heading to South Korea, be it Seoul, Busan or Jeju Island! Well, I am sharing with you my itinerary for one full day at Jeju Island..which I believe you might be interesting for some of you.. We hired a cab driver to take us around because that is cheaper than taking a cab from place to place, or taking the bus because that is extremely time consuming! First stop was the  Cheonjiyeon Waterfall which was lovely.. Do be careful of the rocks when you try to get a closer look and picture of yourself.. I wore slippers, so that was pretty difficult! Next to it is the columnar Basalts - Jusangjeolli which tells you the story of the...

Seoul : Insadong Street – Arts, Food, Culture

My favourite street in Seoul is Insadong. Why I love it? What's not to love with the mixture of coffee shops, traditional food, desserts, shopping AND culture!!! Re-visited that street 3 times over one week. It's known to Koreans for art and culture because there are different art pieces for sale, quirky stuff, and also museums! The first thing I went for of course is the famous ICE CREAM shop. This twisted ice cream cone is actually fairly new in Korea and has tons of people lining up for it.. First, grab a cone, then bring your desired cone to a guy where he will insert the ice cream And voila - Twisted ice cream cone for consumption. However, if you are not...

Seoul : Hongdae Night Life – Food, Coffe, Karaoke

For my South Korea journey, I want to share as much with you as possible because I had a great time and did quite alot of things, thanks to my friends who were there :) Hope this will serve as a guide for all of you when you visit Seoul as a tourist, don't want you to be hoodwink into just going to touristy locations! So, our first non-tourist destination thanks to Jamie Liew  , a Malaysian friend who's currently studying there is HONGDAE! How do you get there exactly? Easiest way: Take the subway to the Hongik University stop, exit Station 9! Try not to take the cabs especially during peak hours because most of the cabs we got into couldn't understand...
