My title says it all!!!! While Ben and I were staying over at Traders KL during Chinese New Year, our staycation , we basically camped at Traders upon checking in and did not go out at all till we checked out. To our surprise, we were lucky to enjoy 50% on our Buffet Dinner priced at 98++ on Wednesday’s nights as it was ladies night!!!
This is a noteworthy tip for all those working in KL especially and don’t want to brace the traffic to head home, just head over to Traders KL, Gobo Chit-Chat restaurant for a nice meal before heading home…
Upon entering, you will see the buffet spread on the left and right on little islands
It’s a pretty huge spread I must say, so I snapped a few delicious worthy pictures for you guys to drool over :p
One of the freshest sashimi at a buffet spread I’ve tasted, cut fresh in front of you
Assortment of sushi
The roasted beef everyone wanted a piece off
The pasta station which I really wanted to eat but was just too stuffed after all the plates of food I’ve eaten
Ben enjoying himself surveying the western corner
Me being such as Asian quickly went to the noodles station to get a bowl of hot noodles soup. I loved the noodle station because there are so many types of noodles from your mees, to even ramen, various vegetables, meat and even soup you can choose from
Jeng Jeng Jeng, time for the desserts section!
Chocolate fondue is a MUST in any decent buffet and they have it!!! Check!
A variety of cakes and pattiserie
They come in all shapes and sizes
Even had kuih-muih for the locals
My favourite part of all?!? They had coldslab ice cream!!! AHHHHHH! Heaven.. I have missed it since my Cold Stone days in the States
Although I know I am not suppose to eat too many sweet things, I just couldn’t resist! The blend of my favourite ingredients, vanialla, chocolate chips and chocolate sauce all meshed up… *Heaven*
A picture with the soon to become Iamgalla in Malaysia, a fashionably dressed Lex who was gracious enough to be with us throughout dinner
Besides it’s reasonable pricing for a buffet and the crazy deal of half off for ladies, I honestly like how big the spread is from Western, to Asian. They even had a section specially for Malay food. Not only that, the hotel is very creative that everyday there’s a different specialty added to the spread. For example, Wednesday nights had the noodles station, and they have seafood buffet on weekends which I heard is really popular!
Just check before you head on down to find the buffet menu that suits you best:) You can find out more on their Facebook Page HERE or look at more pictures on their Instagram HERE
Eat up!
