Review: Eversoft Skinz UV White

Unlike people in the West, many Asian girls strive to get Japanese porcelain white skin because somehow in Asia, fair complexion is associated with beauty.

I for one have avoided the sun ever since I moved to Hawaii in my teens, not because I wanted to be fairer but because I had very sensitive skin, and would break out if I stayed in the sun too long…. The irony of it is that I love being in the sun!!!!!!! Ggggrrr!!

With all the latest beauty products on enhancing whitening, I’ve decided to jump on the bandwagon and try it as I was about to emcee for the event.. One thing is for sure is to make sure I know what I am talking about for the attendees and give an honest review for all of you reading this!

Now, onto my review to the secret to Japanese porcelain white skin using Eversoft Skinz UV White. In order to get Japanese porcelain white skin, Eversoft created a range of products that also utilizes the 5-steps Japanese skincare ritual

Step 1: Cleanse your face using the purifying facial foam. The good thing about this cleanser is that your face does not feel tight after washing which means that it retains moisture in your face.

Tip: Remember to dab dry your face with a facial tissue or cotton after you cleanse everday instead of using the same towel day after day because bacteria gets transmitted that way

Step 2: Put on clarifying toner with a cotton pad. I love the calm and fresh feeling after I’ve put it on because it contains licorice and aloe vera

As a first time user of a whitening product, the third step was definitely new to me which is to put on the intensive whitening serum.

Step 4: Moisturize! There are two products, one for day and one for night. The day one also protects your skin from UVA and UVB rays while the night one boosts the whitening proccess while you sleep

Step 5: Protect your skin from the sun using the Whitening BB Cream with SPF30PA++! It protects and doubles over as a foundation before you apply your make-up which I love as I am a lazy girl!

Overall, I thought that 5-steps was a bit too much but once you get use to the routine, it takes 3 minutes tops to complete all 5 steps. In addition, my skin did go a shade lighter which is amazing as my skin is already quite fair….. IT WORKS!!
