New Year, New Face

Hold your thoughts! If you thought that I got some nip and tuck done…my new face was not related to evasive or plastic surgery at all…. But it’s a renewal of the skin ON my face 🙂

As we start hitting the mid 20’s mark and above, some how our skin will start becoming drier and wrinkles start coming into play…For me, I still get acne though which is such a hassle… So, I’ve decided to take action and try some new age facials at DRX clinic..

After consultation with Dr.Jason who is an aesthetic physician, he advised me to take the DRx O2 Treatment. It is exactly like it sounds, because the treatment includes oxygen that will be directed to vital fluids at the surface of your skin. The treatment will smooth out fine lines, make your skin clearer, brighter and basically assist you in taking our your dead skin…Best part of the facial is that it’s only 40 minutes!!!

Love the fact that their products are all made by DRx in Singapore using natural products… hence some of them actually smell pretty funky but does wonders to your face

The machine for the Topical Hyperbaric (THO) Therapy….. So, on to how it works?

Once the therapist has cleansed your face thoroughly, they will proceed with microdemabrasion to remove dead skin giving you firmer, and brighter looking skin.. It’s like a strong vacuum that sucks dirt from your skin…

You can already see the first round of microdemabrasion doing it’s magic on my skin

Then, it’s on to the O2 Rejuvenating treatment where they spray the serum into your skin. It feels like a light breeze on your face..

There’s also the O2 whitening treatment but Dr.Jason advised me to take the rejuvenating one as my skin was a wee bit dry….. It helps to provide more moisture into the skin and prevent further breakouts

You can actually see the serum on my skin and the therapist lightly spraying oxygen to fortify the serum into the skin..During this time, you can actually fall asleep because it’s that relaxing!

So, what’s the after effect?

Without any filters, you can clearly see the difference on my skin..how it is brighter, clearer, more moist and most importantly refreshed! Many celebrities use this treatment after or right before a big event as I’ve heard.. and it’s a perfect uplifter for my skin as I just finished 3 back to back days of shooting The Influencer
