As a female, I always get weird stares from friends(mostly girlfriends) when I tell them that I can’t do something because I have to watch the game.. Any game that has MU playing especially this past season in the EPL. Just a little background for you guys, I have been a huge fan of MU ever since I was born(not that I knew what football was when I was 1 but I would like to think so)… Being an MU fan has been passed on from my father, to my older brother, then me and my younger brother.. even my cousin is an MU fan..
However, my beau is a Liverpool fan which brings me to one of our recent losses at the BPL between Liverpool and Mu, 3-0, and we were at our homeground.. wow.. Not only were our players not coordinating, but we clearly did not have form that night… Not forgetting how we could keep getting penalties(this would never happen during SAF’s time) !!!!
Not sure where you guys watched the game, but as a fan, many watch it with fellow supporters, and Fox Sports(AstroChannel 812 and HD 832) gathered fans of MU and Liverpool to watch it at Red Carpet Avenue, Encorp Strand Mall
It was decked out in red as you can see, with the screen in front in HD.. People from all walks of life came from the media, to general supporters..
Better start em young… like me
Manchester United fans!! Glory Glory Man United
Now, it’s time to talk about David Moyes and how when he came, he was NO Goliath but rather the opposite as many other fans from other clubs would love to joke about.. Not only did he have to fill those big shoes left by Sir Alex Ferguson, fondly called SAF, but quickly start winning like MU always does right..
But, he does everything wrong on so many fronts.. such as..
1. Main mistake to fire all the other managers of different divisions who was previously under SAF and brought in his own team.. Why oh Why would you do that? Not only is it bad karma to fire people, but seriously..if they stayed..at least we had a chance to win because they know the ins and outs of the players!
2. He brought in Fellaini and wasted so much money… Why? Because you saw potential in him at Everton.. but did you ever think how he would be playing at a champion club?
3. His starting team is always very mismatched.. It’s like he’s still giving them a try after one year..
Clearly, he doesn’t bring out the best in the players..but the worst! Not only does he not have a WINNING mentality, but he’s pretty defeatist in my opinion..always saying wrong things to the media… like “he thinks all the fans favoured Liverpool on that day?!!???”
So, he has to go.. worse off, we are not going to the champions league next season.. and our only chance to redeem ourselves is to win the Champions League this season.. but it’s pretty difficult because our next opponent is Bayern Munich..so what do I do as a fan?
Well, continue watching the game, hope David Moyes gets fired.. and always have the winning attitude because Manchester United will make a comeback!!!
Congrats Liverpool on the well deserved win!I guess it was a bit more harder for MU fans that night after watching it on the big screen!
Always a fan <3
That said, thank you Fox Sports for setting such a cool live action event for that “eventful” match! And, to all MU fans out there.. continue supporting, don’t give up hope, and know that we will comeback like we always do!!!
