Chinese New Year is truly just around the corner and I thought I should share the 2nd half of my Chinese New Year lookbook with you. These outfits are a little unconventional for those who still want to look ‘ong’ yet want to wear darker colors.

I really like some of these outfits because there’s a mix of everything like the previous one and I am sure you guys can get a good idea on how to style your own look too.

  1. The Cheongsam – I originally bought this to emcee an event as their corporate colors were blue, but the theme did not end up suitable for me to adorn this pretty cheongsam. T.T. Don’t worry, I will be wearing it to emcee another upcoming Chinese New Year dinner because this cheongsam MUST be showed off, don’t you think?

The cheongsam was from Doublewoot and the heels from Shoe’s Bar from Berjaya Times Square! They have new stocks of shoes all the time and it’s so comfy <3

Love the peekaboo elegance of the lace, and this cheong sam is clearly timeless yet traditional when you look at it

2. The casual, yet with a hint of playfulness look – I thought the skirt is a really good curves enhancer, and you just need to pair it with a tighter top above to complete the look

Top from Zara, skirt from Muuz and accessories from Thomas Sabo

You can pair it with black heels like I did or flats

3. The formal sultry look – This is perfect for Chinese New Year dinners which all of you will be attending, company functions as well
