Let me ask you a question? How many times have you been to Berjaya Times Square if you live in the Petaling Jaya area?
For me, I can safely say I have been less than 5 x since it was build 13 years ago!!!! I didn’t know they have so many new themed zones in the recent years with the most recent one making you feel like you are in a different mall, and it’s meant for rest and relaxation!
When I was invited to check it out, I was super skeptical but lo and behold, I choked and was pleasantly surprised…
The elevators up to 2nd Floor East
Look at it, they have the Korean accessory brand Red Eye and it looks airy and welcoming, and I love the brightness!
Loving the water feature where you can just chill out
There are many eateries there as well, affordable and delicious like MJ cafe… They had local delicacies..
Looks very calming and the pricing of the food was astoundingly reasonable
If you are not local, this is a must drink!
I love that a pot of green tea only costs me RM5 with pineapple fried rice which was like the ones I have tried in Thailand
Don’t look down upon local restaurants as this brownie kept me coming back for more scoops! It’s soft, moist and not too rich!
And then it’s onto shopping! I didn’t expect much BUT I manage to spend RM400 in one hour.. GULP!
This is a MUST check out place because the sales people are persistent but really efficient! They have new stock every week and the heels are comfy!
I had a THING for Claire’s heels after watching Jurrasic World because it looked so functional yet sexy! I found a pair similar and got it at RM130 at the Shoe’s bar!
Such a good souvenir place which I spent RM30 for a soft toy for my niece there… They even have the cutest cups at a very affordable price
Next to the Teddy Farm is one of the cleanest toilets at Berjaya Times Square if I may say so myself. They have a cleaner stationed there the whole time the mall is open(basically at every toilet), but I am guessing the patrons who are attracted to 2nd Floor East are also more civilized because the toilet was very clean!
An additional bonus point for that!
All of my purchases for the day. I spent quite a hefty amount at Hair Depot and they had such good deals such as buy one free one kinda thing!
Trying out a new type of tea which was highly recommended
We had a drink/dessert at Yicha which serves fresh tea with fruits. The tea is comparable to Gong Cha and seem really healthy too!
You must try their pudding at Yicha because it’s soft and not too heavy on the stomach
Besides 2nd Floor East, I walked around the other themed areas and quite like Tiny Taipei
Welcoming Entrance to Tiny Taipei
I liked how the signboards and look of the whole area looked like Sze Man Ting in Taiwan!!!!
The other are I checked out which girls would die for would be Central Park
It’s like shopping paradise with bargain items such as shoes for Rm25
Although it’s a small area but it has so many stall inside like a maze!
Because of this experience, I won’t turn down an offer to go shopping or to chill at Berjaya Times Square anymore. I like that they have refurbished and are trying to attract crowd from various places, not just Kuala Lumpur anymore. These different themed areas will definitely set them apart from other malls.
It’s always good to innovate and refurbish, so kudos to Berjaya Times Square, I will be back for more heels, that;s for sure!
Shop up,
