It’s been a whole month since I have written in this little space and I have to apologize as I have been travelling the entire month! Two countries in one month is not a feat someone with my health should try!!!!!
This month has been a month of reminisce and pondering as it has been a whole year since my last birthday month of course and also a whole year since the dreaded 2014 for me. It is also this month that I realize that I am not as strong as I want to be YET. The mind wants to do so much but the body can only do so much.. and it has taken me a whole year to realize it, but at least I have come to that realization right?
Thus, another birthday and another celebration for many, but for me, I appreciate the people around me who take the time and effort to spend time with me during, and around the days to my birthday that make me treasure it even more!!
The week leading to my birthday was an eventful one as I was in Fukuoka, Japan to emcee the annual Intel ISA event!
First day of the conference in Hilton Seahawk fukuoka
Hon(guy next to me on my left) and I working with a full Japanese team! Loads of laughter watching Hon trying to communicate with the entire team using body language!
My ‘Good witch’ outfit put together by Jeen in conjunction with the Halloween themed dinner for Intel
Emceeing by the seaside in Fukuoka was simply surreal!
Had a chance to catch up with Gentaro(ex housemate in Hawaii) ‘s mom and sister in Osaka before the flight back to KL!
Once I arrived home on the 2nd of November, I received my first birthday gift – a Tiffany & Co wallet from Ben 🙂
First birthday cake with the fam bam and Isabel who blew my cake for me before I could blow it!!
Second cake by Steph and Yee Ming!!!! Love the homemade card!!!!
One with the team! They also made me a huge card, and dressed me up as princess of the day… and surprised me too!
Dinner with more friends!! If you like my skirt, it was custom made by Eleusis who is making my wedding dresses, and loans me gowns, and cheong sams for my events! Do check her out ok, and you will definitely NOT regret it!
Wrapping up my celebrations with Kit and kean, and our polaroid shots!
As you can see in each and every shot, I really take my wishes and cake cutting very seriously because it’s not easy getting a second chance at life and I appreciate it with my whole heart 🙂
Not to get too sappy or anything but I meant every Thank You when I say it, type it, and comment it for simply wishing me…
Here’s to another great and healthy year ahead for me and all of you <3
Love,
Mei Sze
