Omega De Ville Butterfly Launch in Seoul

If you guys have been following my Instagram or Facebook , you guys will definitely have noticed that I was in Seoul a week back, and Bali right after… After arriving back to Malaysia a day ago, I finally have some time to write about the most amazing event I’ve attended to date – The launch of the Omega De Ville Butterfly in Seoul, Korea with the presence of NICOLE KIDMAN, and other Korean celebrities such as Yun Jin Kim and TOP from Big Bang !

Not knowing what to expect with a beautifully crafted invite shaped as a butterfly, and the dress code as black tie.. I dressed in a purple gown handmade by Celine Ooi from Eleusis. A big note of thanks to Celine for making it ready for me in just one week!

Once you step in, we were in awe of the 20,000 white roses dotting the landscape in front of us, it’s only in dreams or my meditational state that I see these types of fields

Joyce and I both loving what we see and wanting to run into the field, but a picture of us in our beautiful gowns and that backdrop will definitely suffice

The walkway leading to the entrance of the Dongdaemun Design Plaza which was designed by world-renowned architect Zaha Hadid is now known as one of Asia’s most prestigious cultural addresses

The urge to rush into the field of white roses specially handcrafted for the past 10 days for that beautiful one night

Once you reach the top, the picture gets prettier with four pianists playing on white pianos across the field (GASP, what a dream..almost had to slap myself to make sure it was real)

Met lovely and fun Miki from Japan, we had so much to chat about everytime we met

The other significant part of the event were the butterflies dotted across walls, backdrops,etc which amounted to 48,000 in total!

Once I was seated, I had to snap a picture of the beautifully hand written placard with my name and our menu for the night

Carefully planned dishes from the appetizer all the way to the dessert which had a chocolate butterfly on it

Nicole Kidman, the brand ambassador for Omega, and Stephen Urquhart, the Omega President on stage

Swiss Singer/songwriter Bastian Baker serenading us while we ate, and he sung a song specially for Nicole to close the night

Leaving the event venue with a heavy heart as the fairytale night drew to an end

Being in the same dinner as Nicole Kidman is such an honour, and to Omega, you did a splendid job creating a night filled with romance, beauty, and timelessness like a butterfly
